Annual Renewal Fee: All Registered club members are required to pay an annual renewal fee of £20.00 This is required to maintain your Students MMA membership and personal insurance. The annual renewal fee is due 12 months after your students join the academy and every 12 months thereafter.
MMA will contact each registered Club instructor in advance of the renewal date, providing the necessary forms and payment details. It is essential that students pay their renewal fee on time. Failure to renew the membership will result in the refusal to attend classes as students will not be insured.

Your Students Membership book
Your Students Membership fees are paid and renewed annually.
Your Students Membership should be renewed four weeks before it is due to expire.
Your Students should receive their membership record book and Maiwand license card within 2 weeks of application.
Your Students Membership record book is their property, so please ask them to keep it always safe.
The holder is not allowed make any change to this record book.
Its contains their license and will eventually contain their all grading, competition and qualifications record.
As a Maiwand valued member they have the opportunity to train at any MMA clubs.
Insurance policy Claim
If you wish to make a claim under Maiwand Martial Arts accident And public liability insurance policy you must notify
Membership service in writing within 72 hours failure to do so may result in the claim being rejected.
Students individual membership benefits.
Have personal accident and public liability insurance whilst taking part in regular class training, promotions and other Maiwand Martial Arts approved and sanctioned activities.
Receive a Maiwand Martial Arts membership book.
Follow a structured syllabus to help them develop and improve their technique and performance.
Are eligible to train at any Maiwand Martial Arts club.
Have access to all Maiwand Martial Arts events.
Receive invitations to Competition and Forms seminars.
Are invited to trials for assistance coaching qualifications course, if they meet the standard threshold.
Are supervised throughout their color belt grading by 1st Dan or higher grades.
Receive access to various offers, the website shop and technical videos.
Can attend training to develop themselves as referees and coaches
Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is a requirement that all Instructors carry Professional Indemnity insurance. MASA recommends a “claims made” policy with Perkins Slade (Royal Sun Alliance) with minimum cover of £5m per incident.
Non Compliance and Sanctions
If a Club is found to not be applying the Standards they have signed up to, this could result in membership of Maiwand being Withheld OR Suspended OR Withdrawn.
Following this action being taken, a Club / Association will have 28 days to appeal in writing, providing evidence as to why this action is inappropriate. MMA will acknowledge the appeal within 14 days of its receipt and advise the Club / Association of the outcome within a reasonable period. The decision of MMA will be final.
Accident/Incident Recording
The instructor should complete an incident/accident book immediately after treatment of the casualty. These records should be kept in case of future claims. Major occurrences should be notified to the Head of your association.
