MMA Grading Rules

MMA GRADINGS RULES

Maiwand Academy will hold regular grading, approximately every 4-6 month and is conducted by school instructor, dates for these will be provided in advance. Students must participate in a grading if they wish to achieve their next belt and increase their grade. All grading will be conducted by an examiner (3rd Degree or higher grade) From your first date of starting you may be able to take your first grading after 4 month of regular training

(Based on training twice weekly) Grading cost £20.00 per person and includes MMA official certificate when you pass your colour belt examination.

How Long Does It Take To Achieve Black Belt

This will depend on how often you train, how hard you train and how quickly you learn. Students who are more dedicated and train harder will obviously achieve their black belt before other less devoted students. For a committed student training a 1-2 classes per week it is possible to reach the standard required for MMA Black Belt 1st Dan in approximately 3 years.
